Continuing their foray into creating games with Indian contents, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced today the launch of Desi Adda: Games of India - specially developed by an Indian Game Development Studio – GameShastra Solutions Pvt Ltd, for the two PlayStation console formats : PS2™ and PSP™.
As a continuing commitment towards partnership with the Indian game development industry, this is the second time Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is working with an Indian game development company to publish ‘ Desi Adda: Games of India. ‘
Desi Adda: Games of India comes with a number of firsts:
- 1st console game completely developed by Indian Development Studio for the PSP
- 1st console game to be playable in 3 Indian languages : Hindi, Punjabi and in Tamil
- Features 6 traditional Indian games: Pachisi, Goat & the tiger, Kite Fight, Kabaddi, Gilli Danda and the beat matching dance game

‘Desi Adda: Games of India’ emanates from the inspiration drawn from the good old, traditional games of India on to a contemporary and modern platform. The interest about such traditional games will help broadbasing both the usage of PlayStation as well as the knowledge of the game amongst the young Indians.

Army of Two: The 40th Day is an upcoming third-person shooter video game that is developed by EA Montreal and published by Electronic Arts for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable. It is the sequel to Army of Two. Army of Two: The 40th Day ships on January 12, 2010 in North America and January 8, 2010 in Europe.

Army of Two: The 40th Day focuses on two-player cooperative play and employs a cover system. It features Tyson Rios and Elliot Salem as combatant partners who, with the assistance of their handler Alice Murray, must fight to survive and prevail over invading forces that have engulfed Shanghai, China in a devastating man-made disaster. A demo of the game has been released on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

This little plug-in that re-enables Playstation Network access for select games when using a PSP with Custom Firmware

**TIPS FOR MAKING IT WORK**
make sure psnabler.txt is in the seplugins folder along with the psnabler.prx (if the prx doesnt find the psnabler.txt it does not work)
make sure your psnabler.txt says: 06.20 inside of it. (this should solve the issue about telling you to update to get on lbp)
make sure you use the m33 driver in the *vsh menu* other drivers will result in crashing..
make sure you have a psn account on registered on your psp
and if in the future it magically tells you that you need to update your firmware to get on psn change the version string to match the latest sony ofw's firmware # for example, the latest firmware is 6.20 so inside your version.txt we would place "06.20" with out quotations.

First, the good news: Buzz! is back! A new instalment in the hit series of quiz games has been released just in time for Christmas. It features 5000 new questions, three more round types and three new characters. There has been a host of minor technical improvements which enhance the overall experience to a significant degree.Buzz! Quiz World is not radically different to previous instalments in the series - all you're really getting is 5000 new questions in a slightly slicker package. But with an RRP of 25 quid (or nearer to £20 if you shop around a bit), that's not a bad deal. If you've never played Buzz! before, and you fancy a bit of family fun round the PS3 this Christmas, it's well worth investing in Quiz World and a set of buzzers. Or, for those on a budget, perhaps just one buzzer and a couple of tree branches.

Metal Gear Solid : PeaceWalker English Demo

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is an upcoming video game currently in development by Kojima Productions and is slated to be released for the PlayStation Portable in 2010.Peace Walker will be the first Metal Gear title for a portable platform directed by series' creator Hideo Kojima. The story will take place following the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.Some changes are made to the standard Metal Gear Solid formula. Movement is done on the analog stick; actions such as crouching and co-op actions use the directional-pad; melee actions, which include multiple throws within crowds of enemies, use the R button; and weapons use the L button with the R button. Players will be unable to move while lying down, and will also have to crouch in order to pick up items dropped by soldiers. The game itself cannot be paused while displaying the menu. The PSP would have to be put in Sleep mode to pause the game.

Team GEN has released Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-C for ChickHEN (TA-088v3+ & PSP-3000’s with 5.03 OFW) Now we can play all of the current game releases known, thats upto firmware 6.20. Backed up and unpatched UMD games all work (all known releases) As well as all PSN downloads. For example the new Metal Gear: Peace Walker demo due tomorrow should work fine.

Little Big Planet[USA]

The original Little Big Planet on the PlayStation 3 boasted so many novel ideas that even though this new PSP game has made some concessions, it's still a great game. Sony's Cambridge Studio has managed to re-create the gameplay of the Media Molecule-developed original, while crafting its own great Story mode and making some gameplay tweaks as well. Some of the key tenets of the PS3 game have been removed, including multiplayer, the ability to manipulate Sackboy's arms and hips, and some of the more advanced sharing features. Given the limitations of the PSP hardware though, the game does a good job of translating most of the key features of the original and should please fans of the series and newcomers alike.

Avatar is a 3-D science fiction epic film written and directed by James Cameron, due to be released on December 16, 2009 by 20th Century Fox. The film is Lightstorm Entertainment's latest project, and focuses on an epic conflict on a far-away world called Pandora, where humans and the native species of Pandora, the Na'vi, engage in a war over the planet's resources and existence.

The film will be released in 2D and 3D formats, along with an IMAX 3D release in selected theaters. The film is being touted as a breakthrough in terms of filmmaking technology, for its development of 3D viewing and stereoscopic filmmaking with cameras that were specially designed for the film's production.The film has been rated PG-13 by the MPAA for intense epic battle sequences and warfare, sensuality, language and some smoking.

The film is slated to win two awards even before its premiere.

The update will include the compatibility with the recently released games, which required higher officialfirmware 6.00+ to run.

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines is a video game exclusively for the PlayStation Portable and is part of the Assassin's Creed franchise, taking place in between the events of Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed II. Bloodlines is an action-adventure game, in which the player primarily assumes the role of Altaïr as experienced by Desmond similar to that of the original Assassin's Creed. Unlike the previous Assassin's Creed spin-off, Altaïr's Chronicles, for the Nintendo DS, the game will feature a gameplay system similar to the original game where players are able to traverse an open world with nonlinear gameplay allowing players to free-roam the island at will. The character can also keep out of sight of enemies and blend into the environment as well as enter hiding spots such as haystacks similar to the first game.

F1 2009 is a video game based on the 2009 season of the Formula One motor racing series.The game was confirmed by Codemasters on May 9, 2008.It was released on the Wii and PlayStation Portable, and is the prequel to the 2010 video game based on the same series.It was released on November 17, 2009, in North America, November 19 in the PAL region and November 20 in the United Kingdom.The PlayStation Portable version was also available as a download from the PlayStation Store from November 17.

F1 2009 marks the first time since Electronic Arts' F1 Challenge '99-'02 that a Formula One game has been released on multiple platforms. The game engine is based on the Ego Engine that Codemasters have used on past racing games Colin McRae: Dirt, Race Driver: GRID and Colin McRae: Dirt 2.

The game features the circuits that are on the 2009 calendar including the Marina Bay Street Circuit for night racing and the new Yas Marina Circuit. The game also features the KERS concept, as well as slick tyres.There are 15 driver aids each switchable on and off for first time and experienced players, and in the multiplayer version, the level of help will change according to the player's skill, by using a "Fair Play" system.

Tekken 6 (鉄拳6) is the latest installment of Namco Bandai's Tekken series, which was released in Japanese arcades on November 26, 2007. It is the first game to be released on the PlayStation 3-based System 357 arcade board. An updated version was released in the arcades in 2008 named Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, featuring new stages and characters. A 2008 release was planned for the game. However, at the Tokyo Game Show in 2008, a announcement was made, releasing the title for the Xbox 360, thus delaying the game's release to 2009. The Tekken series had, previously, been exclusive to the PlayStation brand. Console-based versions based on Bloodline Rebellion were released on October 27, 2009, for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The PlayStation Portable version will feature additional content.On October 9 2009, it was announced that Tekken 6 had gone gold.
